Evangelism; Inviting a Homeless Man to Church!

Today, I had the pleasure of speaking to a homeless man about Jesus! When I first saw him, he was laying down on the ground, with no belongings, looking feeble and burnt from the sun. I asked him if he was ok and he said, “ok.”
However, the Lord impressed Him upon my heart, so I bought a bottle of water and went back to approach him. When I did, we had a conversation about Nishinari, and I shared with Him the love of God and also invited him to worship in the park with a group of Christians that meet regularly on Wednesdays. I will also go to the park for the worship service this Wednesday and look for him to see if he is there and can connect with him again.
In my broken Japanese, we were able to laugh, talk about life, and his needs. In short, he shared that he’s in constant need of food, but on Saturdays he goes to a mobile soup kitchen and can eat rice with lots of vegetables.
I told him that life is hard, but Jesus’ love for us is big. I told him that the water was a gift from Jesus and that I hoped to see him this Wednesday. Let’s pray for this man to receive Christ this week! I believe that a seed was planted today and pray that he would commit His life to Christ!
I will prepare a care package for this man including the things that he told me he needed and meet Him this Wednesday, Lord willing!
Everyone who supports this mission, supports people just like this man; who maybe have heard of Christ recently, but have not yet believed. Your support provides food, water, sunscreen, hygienic items and other goods that are extremely valuable to the homeless as not only items, but as tools to open the doors of their hearts to Christ. Thank you to each and every one of you who supports this mission! God can save this man! I will give an update later this week of how things go! God bless you!

To God alone be the Glory!
