Lifted Vision Ministry

Dear ones,
I have great news! By God’s grace, the new visa I applied for, the one we have been praying for, the one that so many graciously supported me in receiving- has been APPROVED! Through this new visa, it will allow me to continue to live and minister in Japan for the next year to come!
With this new Cultural Visa, I will study the art of calligraphy which is the Japanese writing system! (And the most difficult aspect of the Japanese language to grasp). I am so excited to be able to continue the important mission work that I have dedicated my life to in Nishinari, Japan by God’s amazing grace! Furthermore, the benefits of studying calligraphy at this time are momentous for the mission because:

1. I will have more time to dedicate to mission work and outreach due to my classes being Monday-Friday and a lessened 2 hour time commitment per day!
2. I will become more proficient in the aspects of reading and writing the Japanese language, helping me to translate the Japanese Bible better and make more advanced origami tracts in Japanese to reach the lost!
3. I can use the art of calligraphy as another ministry tool in my tool belt: by gifting it to the homeless with messages from God to minister to their hearts and share the gospel in a new and interesting way!
4. I can continue to do mission work freely until 2025 without having to renew my visa again!

“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”

There is also an amazing testimony here; although I made the decision to apply for a 6 month visa to study calligraphy due to financial constrictions, (not being able to afford a 1 year of tuition up front) God STILL provided and awarded me a 1 year visa despite this!!! That means, my visa status is approved until March 2025! I thank God for this miracle blessing, for His grace and for His provision! It is evident and undeniable that the Lord has me positioned in Japan for such a time as this! I am so grateful that I can do the work of the Lord and will continue to give the Lord and His people back everything that God has given me! I’m so excited to see the ministry growing and God providing more methods to reach the lost here!

Thank you for your invaluable prayers, love, care packages, financial support and attention to the homeless here! Your selfless giving makes a difference in the lives of so many Japanese here! Let’s continue to give our best to God and watch Him continue to transform Japan in a miraculous way!
