What is it: Help Feed Osaka’s hungry
Day Laborer’s stand outside of the welfare building in the slums of Osaka, Japan everyday as soon as the sun is out, in the hopes of finding a job. These men and women are from the country and have left their families to go to the city, hoping to find a job, so that they can provide for and feed their families back home. They are homeless and hungry.
I will go to Osaka and pass out meals to these men and women while I am in Japan.
This money raised will solely go to the cost of food for these day laborers. I plan to pass out $50 worth of food a day, for 2 weeks. For each item of food, I will attach a homemade tract in Japanese that I have made with a salvation prayer and a chosen scripture on it. I will witness and minister to the needs of this forgotten population of Osaka, because God does not call them forgotten! They are precious in his sight and He knows their needs.
