Friends and Family of the faith,
Prayer Warriors, Christians and everyone from far and wide,
I’m so glad that you’re here today!!! I have such exciting news to share with you concerning the Christian world, coming to you from Osaka, Japan, all unto the glory of Christ our Savior!
This is a monumental time in Nishinari for Christ. God is re-writing the history of Nishinari even as I write this to you now. What once was a place categorized with a reputation for social unrest and being filled with ragtag vagrants and dangerous criminals, is now gaining a new name. Recently, many feel, confirm and are beginning to conclude, that Nishinari may be the place in all of Japan where Christ can be encountered most. Due to outreach efforts from missionaries and Christian ministries (including this one), Nishinari is turning into a Christian mecca, where churches are beginning to pop up everywhere, and God’s power continues to transform lives. Nishinari, a place which started off with a very complicated history, is being upturned and redeemed by the Kingdom of God! Although the need for evangelism is still so immensely great here and there is still a lot of work to be done (as Japan is only 2% Christian), it’s truly incredible to see how much God’s presence and power has changed this Japanese community in just 3 years’ time.
God’s love for Nishinari is so astounding and true!!! He loves them so much!!! That’s why, I was sent here to tell them of Christ’s unending love for them! Let’s continue to look with wonder at our mighty God and the work of His hands!
NISHINARI CHURCH UPDATE:
The church, which we have been believing for and praying for since 2019 (7 years ago!) has been planted and is flourishing by the grace of God!!! Our church service, The Light of Christ, meets every Saturday, from 1pm-4pm, and we currently have 3 members attending weekly with several new visitors coming each week as well! The church of God (His blessed people) are growing in the Lord! To God alone be the Glory!
