For 2025, I have had the privilege of attending a Saturday College Bible study held at a small local church in outer Osaka! This Bible study is dedicated to the college students attending one of western Japan’s largest private universities, Kindai University. They meet once a month to worship, fellowship, share life and testimonies, pray for one another and encourage one another in the Lord. Each time I attend this Bible study, there is always at least one new student from the previous time and new ones joining each time too!
I’m so grateful to God for His unending love for the Japanese and how the leadership of this group facilitates a safe place for the students to share in their faith with one another. The Lord is truly doing a mighty work in the Bible study! This little community is a safe haven for students to share and express their faith freely, knowing that they will be accepted and understood- unlike in the common area of the rest of Japan. Additionally, this is a place where they can share their burdens as well, and get spiritual guidance, support and prayer from the others in the group too. I love this ministry run by the Majima couple; Spirit-filled dear servants of the Lord who I am blessed to know and love.
Would you please pray for our Bible group to grow, for the Holy Spirit to abound, for the students’ salvation and their studies and for all of unreached people of Japan! God Bless you for your hearts and attention towards them!!
