On February 9th, two dear friends and established missionaries from America had hearts to visit Osaka and Nishinari, to help and serve Lifted Vision Ministry. And what a *mighty* impact they have made! The homeless Japanese men and women that met them at the end told me, “we will never forget what you have done for us; we will always remember your names and tell everyone what you have done in the name of Jesus for us.”
By the grace of God, the Lord had His way over Nishinari!

- Bible Study in Nishinari: Colin, one of the visiting American missionaries, myself and a Japanese Nishinari man all gave our testimonies of how God found us! It was so powerful to hear about how God has moved in all of our lives; many tears were shed at the goodness, redemptive power and love of Jesus Christ.
- Evangelism and Food Distribution: For two days, we distributed TONS of rice balls 🍙, bread 🥖, fruit 🍇 and green tea🍵 to the homeless while doing outreach and encouraging them in the Lord (all provided by the American brothers that came to serve). The Japanese were so touched and very grateful AND we were able to pray over them! The power of God felt during this time was incredible and people were touched by the Holy Spirit’s presence. Even “not-yet-saved” Japanese accepted prayers and even prayed with us- Hallelujah!!!
- Prayer walk through the Red Light District: We brought the power of God to the Red Light District together and although dangerous (as we were being followed and heavily watched) the Lord protected us and we were able to shift the atmosphere for Christ there! 🥹 Step by step, the land is changing there from darkness to light!
- Showing them a Japanese Missionary’s lifestyle: I was able to take the missionaries to my church and show them how a Japanese/Korean church impacts Japan! I was also able to show them Nishinari and cast vision with them about God’s plan for a Revival here in 2028. I showed them how the locals live and we also enjoyed some local food!
Overall, this time was incredibly blessed by the Lord! We ended our journey in Tokyo, where I joined the missionaries and met two other missionaries in Tokyo too! We encouraged one another, prayed for one another, and created lifelong friendships that will never be forgotten! God provided so many new connections through our work together and brought us all together for His purposes: people with a heart to see the Japanese be saved and people willing to go to the ends of the Earth to share His gospel! I praise God for this opportunity and look forward to continuing to co-labor with them! I also praise God for the additional and future laborers He will continue to send to finish His work here in Japan!
