Lifted Vision Ministry

With just 5 days until I embark on my 2 month trip back to America, I’ve been very excited, grateful and very much looking forward to all that God will do! God has called me to many speaking engagements across 5 different states and at over 8 different churches, therefore, I’ve been getting prepared and been doing everything necessary to be able to come back to America safely and soundly! As I’ve been preparing however, I have encountered some setbacks and what seems to be just plain, spiritual warfare.

For example, I’ve needed to go to the hospital 3 times in 2 weeks due to a severe infection that I’ve been diagnosed with. With the unexpected cost of the hospital bills and lab tests, I was starting to feel a little discouraged. With just one week until America, I want to feel my best and be able to give my all without sickness! Right now I’m taking all of the antibiotics and praying to be in tip-top shape by the time I get on that plane! After that, my debit card, expired suddenly just today, meaning I can no longer take out any cash or use my debit card at the ATM, cutting me off from using all public transit and buying most things in Japan (as it is a 95% cash based society).

Despite these setbacks and unexpected challenges, the Lord is still doing great things! Thankfully the Lord has provided lodging with each state that I will be traveling to- free of cost and I am eternally grateful to everyone who is welcoming me into their homes! My plane ticket and ride to the airport have also been provided for- so there is much to praise God for, amen!!!

Some Immediate Needs Are Prayers and Love-Offerings For:
* Ministry Supplies: materials to make a missionary display for presentations at churches, prayer cards, and art supplies for a painting with God event I am co-hosting

* Travel Expenses: Bus and train traveling expenses as I move from N.Y. to P.A., P.A., to Upstate N.Y., Upstate N.Y. to S.C, S.C to G.A, G.A. to S. C., S.C. to F.L., F.L. to N.Y. and then back to Japan.

*Life Needs: Moving expenses, hospital bills and the need for medications and treatments that came up suddenly

Although I might not be feeling great and have been dealing with some struggles right before I head back to the states, I find so much comfort in this piece of scripture:

-2 Corinthians 12:9-10 NIV-
“But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.“

I want to encourage you today, that whatever the enemy may throw at you, that God is more than capable of sustaining you through it! For I believe the scriptures when they say:

–Psalm 126:5 NIV-
“Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy.”
