In light of the current state of politics, the world was watching as former-president Donald Trump’s attempted assassination took place just this past week. As Christians, there is a lot to deduce from this event; but I want to bring your attention to the fact that there was one Christian brother who foretold 3 months ago that this attempt on his Trump’s life would happen.

In an interview with pastor and Christian author Steve Cioccolanti, Brandon Biggs forecasted that he believed that Trump would have an attempt on his life by means of a gun attack, and he foretold that the bullet would whizz by Trump’s head, damaging his ear and his eardrum, resulting in him falling to his knees. Biggs stated that this event would cause Trump to quite literally fall to his knees, but what’s more is that, spiritually as well, Trump would fall down on his knees before the Lord. He stated that this event would be the catalyst, causing Trump to become radically born-again as a Christian. He further prophesied Trump to win the election, which would be followed by a great depression-like time for America, then followed by a great Revival; beginning with senators and politicians in our government and Oval Office, then transcending over the nation; as a great coming back to Christ for all Americans. Biggs also stated that he believed that God was saying that these hard times coming upon America were going to be for a season of shaking to awaken, and was not to be considered as a judgment by God, but rather as an overall correction (minute 13:00-13:39).

Pastor Cioccolanti stated that this is indeed aligned with events happening in Revelation, as most Christians would agree that we are living in the Revelation end times now. In light of the current state of affairs in the world and when we look to God’s Word regarding end time prophecy, I believe we should always keep our eyes and ears open to the events happening around us in the world.

Biblical prophecy foretells that Jesus is coming back quickly and at a time that no one knows except God the Father. Our instruction from the Lord is to keep watch, manage ourselves correctly and to be ready for this day. I believe that Jesus is coming back much faster than anyone can imagine. It is up to us to ready ourselves, being faithful to God until the very end, and sanctifying ourselves in preparation for His return as the Bride of Christ (Ephesians 5:25–27.) I encourage you brothers and sisters, let us ready ourselves for Jesus’ return and lay aside every weight and sin that can so easily beset us and keep watch.
