Lifted Vision Ministry

Missionary life is far from glamorous and easy, but it is supremely worth it to see the lost of a different nation come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ! I feel privileged to be a minister of the truth of God to a lost nation and praise God for calling me to Japan for such a time as this. I want to bring up a need I have here, for a new living situation, as where I currently stay has a myriad of issues that make even daily life extremely, extremely challenging. Here are some of the issues I’ve been facing for the past 6 months:

• Only Cold running Water (cold enough that my hands turn red every time I wash them)
• No working lock on Door (I’ve told my landlord several times, but it is a problem with the old door itself and cannot be fixed)
• No proper heating system (I have heat, but the insulation is so poor, that I must keep the curtains closed even in the day time, and the floors feel like there is an icy wind always rushing over it)
• Unsafe surrounding conditions
• Unclean drinking water 
• No working WIFI ( the Wifi isn’t strong enough to make a phone call in my room, I cannot connect all of my devices, or even complete any work online, which are real safety and livelihood concerns for me)

You may wonder why I would choose to stay at a share house like this, however, it is all I can afford with my current support and savings budget. It is my hope and prayer, to be fully supported, and to raise enough money to move to a slightly better living establishment where I can have basic living essentials and so that these issues no longer affect my daily life anymore. I pray that if you feel the Lord’s call to give to Lifted Vision, that you would consider it prayerfully! Thank you so incredibly much for your sacrifice as we co-labor together to bring the gospel of Jesus Christ to a lost nation! I will continue working hard to bring the gospel to the homeless population of Nishinari here!
