Greetings friends and family of the faith,
2023 was an incredible year for God’s Kingdom message to be shared in Japan and Lifted Vision Ministries! Please see what we accomplished together below!
1. Out reach events: 6 large outreach events were held in 2023, where brothers and sisters of the faith from Japan and 13 other countries (Vietnam, Belgium, America, Canada, China, Singapore, South Korea, France, Malaysia, Mexico, Germany, United Kingdom, Peru) came to Nishinari to witness to the lost together with me! I’m amazed at God’s unbelievable impact in the area of Nishinari as we saw souls get saved, people get healed and also delivered! At these events, care packages were handed out, including Bibles, gospel message tracts both handmade and given to me in Japanese, food and other personal care items. Homeless men and women were fed the Word of God, by being witnessed to collectively and individually. At these events there was much prayer, live worship music, and some sort of extremely incredible performance including flag dance worship and skits. Additionally, a message was preached by a pastor on the streets using a microphone. What a blessing to be able to arrange these events so that Japanese men and women’s lives could be transformed by the hearing of the Word! Jesus will continue to be preached!

2. Individual Ministering in groups of 2 or more: Every single week I minister to the people of Nishinari by myself through giving out care packages and witnessing to the people on the streets as I walk around my neighborhood in the slum of Nishinari. Countless times my pastor and other pastor friends joined me as well! We pray over the sick, give them food and water and then tell them about Jesus!
3. Red Light District Outreach: In 2023, I was able to visit the Red Light District 4 times before I was grabbed by the handler’s and forcibly pulled into one of the shops. I was able to shake them off and had a friend ministering with me who is a pastor, so fortunately I was not hurt, but I was given a great warning not to come back. Before that, I was able to talk with the girls that were trapped in sex trafficking and beginning to form relationships with some. After the altercation, I was advised not to return to the Red Light District for one year due to safety reasons. I look forward to returning to the Red Light District of Nishinari to minister next year once I am no longer being watched by them and it is safer.
4. Church Building: This year, through God’s power, I was able to make waves in building the real church of God; as in, “the people of God!” As the people of Nishinari began to accept Christ, I saw a dramatic shift in the homeless population here in Japan. Once one person gets saved, they then tell their friends about Jesus as a result! This ripple affect has helped share the gospel even more throughout the homeless population here. It’s a blessing to know that there are many Japanese believers who’s lives are being transformed and who are getting off the streets! Through these small and humble yet mighty beginnings, I have a forward and long term vision of buying a place of worship for these men and women to attend church and worship God freely!
5. Salvations and Miraculous Healings:
–7 people were saved this year due to the gospel message being preached through God using this ministry!
-Countless people experienced a physical healing in the streets of Nishinari through the laying of the hands and prayer! We saw backs, knees, a cripple man sit up and move, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder improve, an arm healed and much more! I praise God for touching His people!
6. Completion of Japanese Language School: I learned the Japanese language in order to effectively minister to the population I have been sent to here. In 2023, I graduated from the Language School, reaching N2 proficiency in the Japanese Language.
Through it all, God was with me as I ministered in Japan this year. God’s calling on my life is so sure and I’m so grateful to be able to minister in Japan for such a time as this. It’s not been easy, but it has been very much worth it! Thank you all for your love, support and grace towards this ministry and myself in 2023, and I look forward to continuing the Good Work of the Lord here in 2024 and for many years to come!
