Each and everyday in Nishinari, I continue to form relationships with all of my neighborhood locals. It’s been a pleasure to form relationships with my neighbors, the homeless, as well as my train station conductors, grocery store workers; everyone! God has given me a grace here to integrate and minister in ways that I could have never imagined. Learning the language formally has definitely allowed me to be more well received by the Japanese more than ever before too! (Schooling was certainly not in vain and aids this ministry in more ways than I can count)! I have been able to speak to them and am at the point where the same people who see me in the street tell me, “good morning” or ask me, “how are you today?” in their own way. It’s been a blessing to be able to form these consistent relationships. I look forward to building the church here and inviting people to our church when it is finally established! This vision is just beginning! As for now, I am able to do local outreach with my small but effective team and have seen a world of difference! More updates to come at the events that I have been involved with lately 🙂 One thing I can report is that GOD IS ON THE MOVE AND TURNING HEARTS HERE. People are becoming more familiar with Jesus and more people acknowledge Him than ever before. Let’s continue to pray that through this ministry and discipleship that many more Japanese give their lives to Christ! God Bless each and everyone of you!
