Nishinari Summer Outreach

Today was a great day for outreach in the hot summer heat of Nishinari, Osaka! After I prepared the onigiri, water and Bible tracts (as mentioned in the previous post), my Pastor, Yasutaka Yoshida and I were sent out by the Holy Spirit to reach the lost for Christ. We met with many people and through conversation with them, we were able to get the Bible in their hands and were able to form closer relationships with repeat people we have ministered to before. I believe it is necessary for the homeless to know that we are a stable and constant force that will always be there for them- so forming relationships and having conversations with the same people repeatedly, has proved to be very fruitful. Many people willing accepted our help and conversation and we made sure to give all the glory to God for His great provision for them.
We also ventured through the Red Light District and was able to form a connection with a woman who currently works for the Yakuza (Japanese gang). We spoke with her and exchanged contact information so if you could be praying for her; that her and I could form a relationship, I would greatly appreciate it!
Matter of fact, I enthrall and plead with you to please pray for all the people we ministered to this day (9 in total)! For their salvation is very near!
-Romans 13:11-
“And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.”
