YWAM Hong Kong Partnership Ministry Day!

By the grace of God and through His supernatural connections alone, YWAM (Youth with a Mission) Hong Kong reached out and coordinated with me via email and requested that Lifted Vision Ministry plan a mission day for their YWAM team to come to Japan and minister in the homeless park of Nishinari, which I am called to.
Overall, there were 5 members of the YWAM Hong Kong team, 1 leader and 4 missionary students, and around 15 Japanese Christians that I invited as well, with hearts to serve and that were willing and able to come to help minister as well!
Now before I get into the details, I need to share a little bit about how this event came to be:
There is an amazing testimony that needs to be shared here because I am not affiliated with YWAM, nor have I ever been historically. I did not reach out to them and I have never even been to Hong Kong, yet somehow they heard about the mission work I actively do in Nishinari through an anonymous recommendation, somehow got ahold of my email, and then had pure hearts to send me ministers to aid the outreach work I am doing in Japan. Additionally, they asked me as well to teach and lead the YWAM student missionaries due to this being their first ever mission trip ever. It was an extreme honor and privilege to be able to serve in this capacity and much fruit was borne from this day! This day was planned by God and God alone and was a complete and utter miraculous and unexplainable divine connection! All the Glory Goes to God and here is all that we were able to accomplished for the Lord by His grace:

  • Ministered in the homeless area called Triangle Park in Osaka, Japan through live worship with violins, guitars, microphones, speakers and our voices for 2 hours. We sang in various language including Japanese, English and Chinese worship songs
  • We ministered through public prayer, laying of the hands, and evangelism by sharing the gospel to many homeless Japanese homeless and other on lookers
  • Distributed around 20 care packages I prepared which included Japanese Bibles, tracts, and various types of meals/food, hot-hands packs, and sanitary items such as toothpaste, tooth brushes *(see pictures below)*
  • Evangelized, prayed and shared the gospel with over 30 people
  • Saw a complete healing of a man’s hurt leg through the prayer of a student missionary member of the YWAM team. Before she prayed, he could barely move his leg it was so injured. BUT GOD! After she prayed, his leg was completely restored and he said that his leg was completely pain-free after the prayer. Glory to God and thank you Jesus!
  • I personally served as a translator for the YWAM students to allow them to communicate with the homeless and assisted them in sharing the gospel with the homeless in the park

It was a wonderful day of revival, healings and transformation! A completely different atmosphere was felt as God’s unmistakable presence was ushered in over the slum area of Nishinari! I look forward to coordinating other mission team’s events (more on that to come!!) and am grateful to God for commissioning more workers to come and help me and my ministry minister in this desolate place that God has called for revival in!
Since the Lord is moving strongly in the area of sending laborers to me at this time, I also want to invite you as well! If you personally, your family or your church family would like to plan a mission trip to come and serve in Japan then it would be a blessing to me and with God we can work together to certainly make it happen! His heart is so big for the people in Nishinari that He is sending people from every tribe and nation to serve them and show them God’s love like never before!

-Matthew 9: 37-38 KJV-
“Then saith he (Jesus) unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.
