Bible Study Begins: Church Plant Beginnings!

I have fantastic news brothers and sisters in Christ!
My Pastor has began a weekly Bible study in the exact civic building that our church in Nishinari will be planted in! It is with great pleasure that I can say that these are the true first fruits of the church that I have set out to plant here!
This Bible study is every Wednesday from 11am-4pm and Pastor Yasutaka and I are going to lead this group together to raise up strong, Japanese Christian brothers and sisters in the faith! Last Wednesday, Pastor Yasutaka led worship and gave a sermon and I provided the food (onigiri) and made hand made origami gospel tracks to affix on each one of them. Due to having to be at my Japanese language school during these hours, I was able to stop by for a moment before going to school, meet the attendees, drop off the food and then headed off to school. I look forward to joining, leading and serving in an even greater capacity at this Bible study during my upcoming school vacation and school holiday days. I look forward to co-laboring with my pastor by supporting him, giving devotionals and sharing my testimony when given the opportunity (as well as continually providing the refreshments and origami tracks). The attendees of this Bible study are homeless, Nishinari men and women with a hunger and desire to know the Bible. I praise God for them and that their hearts are on fire for the Lord! They were searching for a Christian pastor, and through a random email, from a random student, Pastor Yastuaka was informed of this, and responded immediately by holding this these weekly sessions. God certainly works in mysterious ways and can use anything and anyone to accomplish His amazing and perfect will! This is an answer to our prayers and is truly the bright beginning of the church to be planted in Nishinari! My heart is truly filled with gratitude to God for making all of this possible! May His name be praised! Amen!
