Japan Updates/ December Prayer Requests!

Greetings Friends, Family and Co-laborers in Christ,

Today I would like to update you on where we’re at with the Jesus For Japan Mission! Here are some common questions I often get that I would like to answer and update you on 🙂

  1. Can you really live in Japan? Yes!!! I have already been awarded a Japanese Student Visa which will allow me to live and work in Japan for up to 4 years! I believe that God is calling me to give the rest of my life to Japan and to God’s mission there and that He plans for me to stay for much longer, so this is the first step in that process! Although I’ve been studying Japanese for 2 years and have already achieved a certain level of the language, I still have a long way to go in terms of describing biblical terms/complex topics. To remedy this, I will be attending a Japanese Language School in Osaka, Japan in order to become fluent in Japanese. I have been accepted into this school and look forward to attending while serving alongside my local Japanese Church and doing full time ministry. This is the first, practical step I can take once I get to Japan so that I can reach more people for the gospel through increased communication.
  2. When are you going to Japan? I was scheduled to go to Japan this past October 2021, however, due to COVID-19 concerns and the pandemic, the Japanese border remains closed to foreigners at this time and I am not able to enter. I am waiting for the Japanese border to open for foreigners so that I may enter the county with my visa. Right now, it appears that I will be sent there sometime in 2021, however I’m not sure of the specific date yet. It could be as early as February I will be let in, or it might take longer. I am being active and preparing in the waiting as well as looking patiently to the Lord for His perfect timing!
  3. I want to be involved! Are you support raising? Yes! If you would like to be a pivotal part of what God is doing in Japan, please see the “Give” tab at the top of this blog! There are two ways to give as of right now!
