Call Against Violence, Plea for Love

Statement to the Church:

It’s not apparent or productive to perpetuate the violence of a look, the violence of an action or even the violence of a thought. All violence is violence in the eyes of the Lord. – Aly

Search me, God, and know my heart;
    test me and know my anxious thoughts.
 See if there is any offensive way in me,
    and lead me in the way everlasting.
-Psalm 139:23-24-

We need to stop fighting WITH each other and start fighting FOR each other, especially in the Church.

“Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.” -1 John 4:8-

Check your heart before the Lord. Are you truly operating out of love? The Christ-like love of others, the only true love? We as Christian know how to love others because of Christ’s example towards us; there are no excuses or acceptable reasons to hold onto or perpetuate hate; which is violence of the heart; which is murder.

We love, because he first loved us.” -1 John 4:19-

“Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other. Never be lazy, but work hard and serve the Lord enthusiastically. Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in trouble, and keep on praying. When God’s people are in need, be ready to help them. Always be eager to practice hospitality.” -Romans 12: 11-13-

Be a Romans 12 Christian loved ones.
