Welcome back to my blog! God has been blessing me with numerous divine appointments (too many to post!) and many of the locals have been open to having conversations with me! It’s been such a blessing to minister to people wherever the Lord puts me. Whether at a vending machine, at a train station or even at a grocery store, I’ve been able to share the love of Jesus! Speaking of grocery stores encounters… Enter: Sueyoshi!
Meet Sueyoshi-san! I met Sueyoshi as I was buying some food at a local grocery store. As I was choosing which sweet potatoes to buy, she kindly pointed out the best ones. I thanked her for the advice and grabbed the ones she mentioned. From there we started a conversation about the different kinds of foods they had at the store and which ones were her favorites. We carried on like this for a while, then Sueyoshi got a grave look on her face. She went on to say that she can’t eat many of the foods that she used to enjoy ever since she became ill. Sueyoshi then lifted up her sleeve and showed me her extremely bruised left arm. I’m not sure exactly what happened or what was wrong, but her arm looked like it hurt a lot. She said it’s been painful for her ever since she got sick and now she goes to the doctors all the time (I think she said once a week).
Seeing her pain, I asked her if I could pray for her arm. She didn’t understand what I was saying at first, but thankfully google translate helped us out! When I translated, “to pray” she actually blushed a little and said that would be great! I then laid hands on her right in the produce section of the grocery store and prayed for a complete healing in her arm! I told her I believe in Jesus and she looked at me stunned and smiling. She seemed to be very taken aback by everything that had just happened! Jesus’ presence met her right there in the grocery store! She said she was very happy! I’m so glad to have met Sueyoshi-san! Sueyoshi is 82 years old! Please pray for her health, continued healing in her arm and for her to completely give her life to Jesus! He is able, Amen?!
