Meet Yoshiki! – Day 2!

It’s Day 2 of my time here in Osaka!

I was able to hand out some origami tracks today! I met many people and was also able to converse with one person at length. Enter: Yoshiki-san! I met a Kyoto-born man living in Osaka named Yoshiki! Yoshiki was very surprised as I handed him the track. I told him, “it’s for you, it’s origami.” As he paused to read the scripture on it, a big smile spread across his face. He asked me if I was a Christian and I told him yes. He thought that was great and seemed to be very excited as he told me about how he used to visit a church when he lived in Kyoto. He even gave me directions on how to get there! I’m sure this church made a big impact on his life. His general view on Christianity and Christians was very positive! I was able to communicate with him for a while and as we talked about our lives I got to know him a bit. He said he didn’t expect this encounter to happen today and that it made him very happy to receive the origami. I believe the scripture encouraged his heart. I wasn’t able to clarify if Yoshiki had given his life to the Lord, however I believe he is definitely interested in Jesus. I praise God for the interaction I had with Yoshiki today! Please pray for Yoshiki and those around him! Let’s pray his interest in Jesus continues and that the scripture blesses his heart! In Jesus’ Name, Amen!
