Hello to all! After 9 months of preparation for this mission trip to Japan, the time is quickly approaching where I will be ready to take off! The main goal of this mission trip is to share the gospel with the lost and to help all people (regardless of age or social status) have an encounter with the only true and living God; Jesus! A major aspect of this mission trip is to hand out these origami fish (pictured above) that I have made. These origami fish will have scriptures on them in the Japanese language (pictured below). I plan to hand these scripture fish out to people during busy times of day, as well as at a local outdoor festival. These scripture fish will also be affixed on the food that I will be passing out to the homeless. I will attach them to the food so that while they eat, they may also receive a word from the Lord. I’m praying (and please pray with me) that this will open many doors for deeper conversation, opportunities of prayer and the overall allowance of God’s love to touch their hearts.
