Hello everyone! It’s been such a long time. This blog is supposed to be a documentation of my missionary adventures in serving the Lord, however, I do not have any mission assignments on my radar at this moment in time. However, I am committed and called to pursing missions with my life and with my heart- all unto the Glory of the one who sent me; Jesus Christ, our Lord.
Today I would like to simply share a Bible verse that is powerful to read and powerful to claim. Here it is:
“When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him.” – Isaiah 59:19
I find such truth in that statement, for the times for which it was written and for even now in our everyday lives. I just want to encourage everyone, that no matter how surrounded by the enemy that you feel; no matter how big the wave or flood of hurt, shame, guilt or circumstances; even if you feel that your problems are metaphorically “over your head;” REST ASSURED; The LORD shall lift up a standard against him.
What this means is that you are protected, spoken for, and taken care of if you are a child of God.
That the enemy shall not overcome you! The Lord of the universe shall lift up a mighty wall to BLOCK the attacks of the enemy to keep you safe. Hallelujah! What a God we serve!
All we have to do is believe in Jesus Christ (Romans 10:9) and ask for God’s protection over our lives and this wonderful participation of spiritual protection is ours to claim. Thank you Lord for handling every situation that comes against us, for going before us in every battle, and for fighting our battles.
Let us have a grateful heart today as we realize all the goodness that God has for us in His Holy Word.
