Good day everybody! Sometimes life can be unexpected- agreed? Plans are always revolving and shifting depending on new circumstantial information. Few things are guaranteed and the more we try to gain control of our lives the further it seems to spins off its axis and out of control. One thing remains constant however; our merciful God! For he speaks of himself in Malachi 3:6, “I the Lord do not change.” This verse from Proverbs I want to focus on today is a sure-fire way to make sure that no matter what you go through in life, you do not have to be overwhelmed or overtaken by the craziness of it all. Knowing the truth brings peace and the truth is; God is always in control of your situation.
Proverbs 3: 5-6 (KJV)
“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”
If we can put into practice to be trusting of God in each and every situation that we experience, he will keep us level-headed and on the path that will bring Him the most glory and us the most fulfillment and happiness. The purpose of this life is to glorify God and because everything is a precious gift from Him, he only asks that we acknowledge him in whatsoever we do. I urge you today to set your heart not on the things of this world; the eradict ebb and flow of life. Instead, set your heart on the Lord and he will show you where to go and what to do. Let Him be your constant source of stability.
2 Corinthians 3:17 (NIV)
“Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.”
Bask in the freedom of being in the presence of an Almighty God! He will never leave us or forsake us! (Deut 31:6)
Praise Him!
